Diane Wright is one of the most talented people I know. When she came to me in April 2009 and asked for help creating a site promoting her training services, this was the result. PHP/mySQL driven with dynamic content CMS capability. Diane and her husband, Steve Wright, work in CGI, compositing, production, titling and post-production for film and television. CMS upgrades and SEO improvements for their other sites, SWDFX.com and VFXIO.com are in the planning stages in the wake of this new site launch. |

In September 2008 I was hired for a limited scope temp assignment intended to improve the search engine ranking for searches based on the name of the company owner, Klee Irwin. Each site was completed in 1-2 days, then went through SEO and content review passes while posted internally. After review additional tweaks to content, tags and images were made before final deployment on live servers. The complete assignment was finished in just over 4 weeks, with a final tally of:
The content provided for each domain averaged between 800-1300 words per domain, not including references, so at the very least these sites contain over 15,000 words that were placed and formatted as part of the project. www.dualactioncleanse.biz | www.dualactioncleanse.bz As of 1st Quarter 2009, these sites dominated Yahoo for relevant search engine queries and the Google and other rankings were steadily climbing. |

The folks at Irwin Naturals were so pleased with my work on the “micro-sites” that they invited me back in November 2008 to work on creating new websites and upgrading their existing ones to be more search engine friendly. KleeIrwin.com is partly a “vanity” site, and partly a place for informational articles about alternative medicine and better living through nutrition and lifestyle changes. |

Like the OCSD Sheriff’s Blog, this is mainly a public relations site, letting the Community Services Division promote the actions of its members. The site uses PHP/mySQL for the dynamic content, and CSS for styles and formatting. |

This site is one that I love for the functionality and regret for the aesthetics. I built the site using ASP, creating custom databases and back-end admin tools. The color scheme and cosmetics, however, were designed by committee. <sigh /> The Home page is fed by different dynamic areas, and maintenance requires little more than the ability to type and click. All in all, it remains a success story. Launched 2003-2004. |
