Photo Safari at the Arboretum

The Digital Photography class I was planning to teach this Saturday at GCC was canceled due to lack of enrollment, but I wanted to offer an alternative photography outing for those who may be interested. The purpose is to give friends and students (who are often friends, too!) a chance to put their cameras through their paces, trying out different settings and becoming more familiar with how to handle the camera for the best results.

The Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanical Gardens located in Arcadia is a wonderful place to take your digital camera for a test drive. There are areas with different lighting conditions, and plants don’t move very fast, which makes it easy to set up and take your shots.

If you are interested, please let me know.

Adult admission is $7. There is no instructor fee, but donations and cookies are gladly accepted. ;-)
